Hi there! I’m Mary Bacher, & I blog about the life that my husband, Steven, and I share with our son Kolbe.
These are a few of my favorite things:
Catholicism, travel, nature, organization, green tea, John Carroll University (go Blue Streaks!), beautiful photos, fair trade, fresh flowers, and making our first house a home.
All of these things are wonderful, but what I love the most is my husband, our son, and my job as a youth minister. Preaching the Gospel is messy, uncomfortable, and walking up to teens is well, terrifying. We have been called, though. Our response has been a joyful, “yes!” to the Lord to serve the teens of our parish. During World Youth Day VII, our hero, John Paul II, said, “Do not be afraid of presenting Christ to someone who does not yet know Him.” We firmly agree and desire to help the world see the beauty that is living a life for Christ – one teenager at a time!
The man I minister with is my best friend, the love of my life and my new husband. Steven Michael is just the sweetest. You can read all about our love story here.
Welcome to our journey!
